Established in 1992, Oliver's Painting and Decorating Services has been expanding year on year due to a well deserved reputation for quality and reliability.
Christian Oliver, the manager of the company went to do a three-year apprenticeship at college. In addition to that, he attained NVQ levels 1 and 2 in business studies at The Enterprise Centre, Poundbury. Whilst there, he was given an achievement award for Business Start Up. On leaving education, he set out on his own. He was a sole trader for around five years, building up his company name and client base. In 2002, Christian received an award from his old college in Poundbury for his success in his start up business. As his business grew, he began to need more and more staff. Currently, he has seven decorators on staff including a carpenter/joiner but on big projects, he employs an extra ten or so people.
The business deals with both residential and commercial work but is always looking to expand, especially on the commercial side.
Christian prides himself on quality and every member of his staff works to the highest standard, which ensures projects are completed on time. There is also call back system in place to guarantee customer satisfaction.
